Located in the rolling hills of the Van Duzer AVA, Andante Vineyard offers beautiful views, memorable wines and generous staff. You’ll find this to be the rhythm at Andante Vineyard as well, a serene environment to take in the views and enjoy classic Oregon wines. The vineyards are LIVE Certified sustainable and Salmon Safe.
Why We Love Andante: Beyond a lovely visit to the winery itself, your tasting adventure can be bookended with a trip to the nearby Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge, which features numerous hiking trails ideal for wildlife watching.

Perched on a steep hillside in the north end of the Dundee Hills, Anderson Family Vineyard epitomizes the word hidden gem. Anderson Family has been hosting private, by appointment tastings for over a decade. In person visits are exclusively with a member of the winemaking team. Cliff Anderson and wife Allison purchased the site in 1989 and began planting the vineyard in 1992. Nearly three decades later they continue to tend to their organically farmed vineyard on this steep, rocky Dundee Hills slope. The wines are crafted onsite using native yeast and moved entirely by gravity, then aged slowly in the cool barrel cave. The setting is hard to beat and the wines are excellent and highly sought after.
Why Featured: Flavorful wines in a private, personal setting away from the normal Dundee crowds. You will be hard pressed not to join as a club member once you experience this!

Apolloni Vineyards’ roots originate in the Arezzo region of Tuscany, Italy. Alfredo Apolloni and his wife Laurine purchased their 62-acre property near Forest Grove in 1999. They moved from the mid-west, set up house, and soon were expanding the existing 5 acre vineyard on the property. Today, they have a wide range of varietals for their winemaking team to transform into wine, including Nebbiolo and other warm climate varietals sourced from Washington that harken back to the family’s Italian roots.
Why We Love Apolloni: Be transported to Tuscany when you visit their villa and sample Pinot Noir and Italian varietals while you enjoy the sunshine on the patio or in the cozy tasting room with its relaxed, living room atmosphere.

Omero was started in 2008 and pays homage to the rich history of the Willamette Valley representing simple, fresh, approachable wines using traditional methods. Minimus kicked off in 2011 as a series of one-off experiments and continues to be a space for innovative winemaking. Established in 1971 by Oregon wine industry pioneer Cal Knudsen and his wife Julia Lee, Knudsen Vineyards is one of Oregon’s oldest and largest family-owned vineyards. It is also the original site of Bonded Winery No. 52, the first commercial winery in the Dundee Hills. The 130-acre vineyard in the heart of the Dundee Hills AVA includes a mix of old-vine blocks and new high-density blocks planted with “Old World” Dijon clones. Knudsen Vineyard was a primary supplier of grapes to Knudsen Erath Winery from 1975 through 1986 and has been a leading supplier of fruit to Argyle Winery since 1987. In 2012, the Knudsen family returned to winemaking under its own label, and today they welcome you to their vineyard and winery in the Dundee Hills.

The Moore Family are some of the nicest in the wine industry and always welcome guests like family to their small vineyard outside Carlton. Ron and Linda Moore started MonksGate in the early 2000s, clearing the land themselves for the 20-acre vineyard. This isn’t your grandiose million dollar tasting room— rather, a casual family operation that speaks to the heart and soul of the Oregon wine experience. With tastings set in a renovated garage and outside around the historic barn, you’ll work your way through Yamhill-Carlton AVA Riesling, Rosé and Pinot Noir. The Moore family conducts all of the tastings, so you can really dive deep into how the wines were made and the blending decisions for each vintage.
Why We Love MonksGate: There are multiple patios and tasting areas throughout the property to spread out and enjoy the views and wine.

Based in Oregon’s Rogue Valley, Troon Vineyard crafts wines that thrive in the hot Southern Oregon climate. The satellite tasting room in McMinnville offers a chance to break away from Pinot Noir and try bigger red wines that thrive in warmer conditions, like Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The white wines also are a departure from what is normally offered in the Willamette Valley, with Vermentino and Roussanne being highlights. The wines are all crafted from fruit farmed organically and biodynamically.
Why We Love Troon: Great variety of wines that break outside of the traditional Pinots and Chardonnay found in the Willamette valley, plus a gorgeous new downtown McMinnville tasting room!

Vidon Vineyard (rebranded to Compris Vineyard spring 2022) brings a delightfully unconventional approach to everything it does: a bold mission to make the wine community a more welcoming and diverse place; the unconstrained yet balanced estate wines, and hillside tasting room which offers a first-hand look at the winemaking action. The outdoor seating on the crush pad and vineyard overlook offer beautiful views of the vineyard and distant Dundee Hills to enjoy your tasting of Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Tempranillo. Compris Vineyard uses a traditional hands-off approach, allowing the unique microexpressions of the vineyard to come through in the final vintage.
Why We Love Compris Vineyard: The crew cares about providing a distinctly personal experience to each wine taster that visits the estate. You’ll find your home away from home, while enjoying the beautiful vistas up at Compris vineyard.
