Alit Wines crafts delicious, small-production wines using Old World methods and minimal intervention. In addition to producing beautiful Pinot Noir, Rosé, Chardonnay and Champagne(!), Alit Wines is focused on keeping their wine costs low and being totally transparent about their pricing. They sell only Direct to Consumer and avoid the markup that comes with traditional retailer/distributor relationships. The result is a great bottle of wine at very accessible prices. Their “wine club” is a bit different too. A flat fee allows you to buy wine at the winemakers cost. As much as you want, when you want!
Why We Love Alit: The tasting room in downtown Dundee is more like a living room than a traditional tasting room… guests can sit wherever they are most comfortable and enjoy a full flight of wine in leisure. It’s a great place to hang out and just soak in the environment and wines.

The star of the show at Day Camp is winemaker Brianne Day and her eponymous label Day Wines. Brianne is a rising-star in Oregon wine country, thanks in part to her creativity in the cellar. Brianne produces some of the most fascinating wines in Oregon, never shying away from uncommon varietals and unique blends. Try the Tears of Vulcan (blend of Viognier, Pinot gris and Muscat), or the sparkling Mamacita Pétillant Natural (blend of Vermentino and Muscat).
Why We Love Day Wines: Day Camp, where Day Wines are made, is a winemaking cooperative incubating many micro wineries getting their start. The tasting room and patio are a great place to spread out and enjoy the afternoon.

Dobbes Family Estate is an urban winery making award-winning wines of distinction in downtown Dundee. Visitors will be greeted by the friendly and knowledgable staff and led through a full portfolio of Oregon wines sourced from eight vineyards in the Willamette Valley and Rogue Valley. For those getting a late start, Dobbes is open until 6pm daily.

First planted in 1971, Hyland Vineyard is one of Oregon’s oldest and largest vineyards, spanning over 200 acres in the McMinnville AVA. The historic Hyland Vineyard lies nestled in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range near McMinnville, Oregon. The Hyland Estates tasting room is located at the western edge of Dundee. Hyland Estates showcases wines crafted exclusively from Hyland Vineyard grapes, including Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay, and Gewürztraminer. Thanks to the age of the vineyard, the wines are from old, established vines, resulting in memorable, complex Pinot Noir. Wine tasters often rave about the atmosphere in and around the Hyland tasting room, including the fireplace, private tasting spaces, patio and landscaping.
