Redefining eminent domain, Eminent Domaine produces delicious Pinot noirs and Chardonnays in a tucked away corner of wine country. In 2002, Jeff Meader and his family embarked on their dream adventure of having a vineyard and winery of their own. Starting with a little parcel in the coveted Ribbon Ridge AVA, they produced 150 cases of Pinot noir in 2006. After opening a tasting room on the property in 2016, plans began for a winery and home next door. In 2018, Jeff, his wife Heather, their two daughters, Ava and Charley, and their dog, Benny moved to the estate. The wines have received some of the highest accolades from major wine publications, but also the admiration of passionate wine drinkers in the know.

Their tasting room overlooks their estate vineyard that is farmed by the brothers themselves, who will also be the people pouring your tasting. It’s a true vine to glass experience! When Boyd and Cassandra Teegarden started Natalie’s Estate (named after their daughter) in 1999, they wanted to focus on more than just Pinot noir. Since releasing their first vintage, the Teegarden’s have successfully built a passionate fanbase for their deep red wines, which include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Merlot and Zinfandel. They also make classic Oregon varietals like Pinot noir and Pinot Gris from fruit grown on their estate vineyard. Up a steep dirt driveway northwest of Newberg is the beautiful vineyard and tasting room of Tresori. With the first vineyard blocks planted in 1997 and the first wine released in 2007, Tresori offers exceptional hospitality and wines from their hilltop perch. The tasting room is a beautifully restored barn, with exposed wooden beams and a stone fireplace making for a memorable ambience. The tasting begins with the family’s white blend, Fusione, followed by Rosé and a flight of estate Pinot Noirs. Tresori makes single-block Pinots from various section of the vineyard, allowing you to taste the difference that soil and elevation make in the finished wine. Dave the tasting room manager leads guests through a multi-year vertical of Pinot noir, with the flight including older vintages that have been cellared for years.
